Hans
Esser is the owner and founder of FinanzTrainer.com, an independent
consultancy specialising in risk management with energy and weather
derivatives.
Hans has nearly two decades' experience in the financial markets and
derivative business. He has worked as a trader, broker and financial
advisor in the UK, US and in Germany for, amongst others, Merrill
Lynch and Pru Bache.
Since spring 1998, with the liberalisation of the German energy
market, Hans has applied his financial expertise of risk management
techniques to this new market.
In early 2000, FinanzTrainer.com became the first German member of
WRMA, the Weather Risk Management Association.
In spring 2001, Hans initiated the "Dahlenburg-deal",
which found intensive coverage in German press, radio and TV.
